Tuesday we had our regular morning of Kindermusik, which Molly just loves. I dressed her in red, white, and blue because she has so many cute patriotic outfits we need to be wearing them!
This is her running down the halls to class
so excited!
Then on Wednesday morning we went to the doctor...sadness!
She looked really cute though! I love this dress I bought at consignment long before I even traveled to China.
It's really festive with the polka dots!
At the doctor she was weighed and has gained 2-3 pounds since we've been home (I thought so!). She weighs 23ish pounds. She was squirming so much it was hard to get an accurate read!
She also had an ear infection which I didn't expect. She hasn't had a fever or been fussy at all. So she has an antibiotic for that. She has had a slight runny nose for a few days and she has had a lingering cough since we have been home from China. It's only when she sleeps or early in the a.m. So I'm hoping this will take care of all of those ailments.
The sad news was that she had to have 6 shots:( to catch her up on her immunizations. You can imagine what that was like. She screamed during the shots of course, but did calm down pretty quickly after it was over. She will need to get checked out again after her 2nd bday (in September).
She kept rubbing her thigh and saying boo boo all the way home. She quickly took off all 6 band aids. Since being home she hasn't acted like they hurt at all. In fact when I asked her to show mom her boo boos she pointed to her scuffed knees and forgot about the shots in her thighs!
Her surgery is in a week and we are trying to enjoy lots of things between now and then!

6 shots??? Poor thing!!!! But she’s a trooper!!! :)
I love the second and third pictures. Her little face looks like a chubby baby face. I never could access the professional ones you had taken of her. Maybe you could post a few! Sometimes I think those doctor visits are harder on mama.
6 Shots??? Poor Molly. I'm glad she's already forgotten about them.
She's such a cutie! Glad the shots aren't bugging her anymore. She handled it better than I would!!
Amy, She is absolutely adorable!!! Give me a call if you guys have a free minute in the next few weeks - I would LOVE to meet Molly and catch up with you too. I have a pool - ya'll could come swim...
Bless her! Glad you found the ear infection...praying it won't mess up the surgery schedule. Thinking about you all...
