She is smiling...but look at the surroundings! Very bare.
I couldn't turn this around, but she's playing in a basket in front of a mirror.
She has a rocking horse in her room here and went straight to it...the sight of something familiar must have been god to her.
Playing/walking outside
Look at the layers! I just don't get it, but this is how all the kids dress in the orphanages. Think of how that must hinder physical development...if they can't walk and move around comfortably???
I'm so glad she is home! I know she was cared for, but it is obvious she wasn't played with a lot and there was not an abundance of toys available to learn from. She is thriving now at home and learns so quickly! I wish all of the orphans who remain could go home with families to love them.

She is so precious! I just came across your blog one day and I love it! I love reading about journey! Thanks for sharing!
Those pics will be real treasures to her, I'm sure. We got pics from a disposable camera too but none of them turned out very well. I was disappointed as it looked like some good poses. Everything was dark and grainy. :( She does look happy---even in all those layers!
