We started by moving her bedroom furniture from mom's house on Good Friday. Mom and I loaded up in the big truck like we were old country ladies! Driving in and riding in this truck makes you humble!
As you enter her room...of course you can tell it's as girly as possible! The chandelier is from Lowes.
I first saw this dress decor at Babies R Us in 2005 as we were preparing for Maddie's birth! Mom and I decided we would make up a nursery at our house (my house at the time) and we did! We knew withing a few year Molly could use it as well. So Madison was the first to use it and then Eddie came along and had to also use a "girly" nursery at Grandma's house! ha!...it didn't seem to affect him in any detrimental way!
Mom and I have claimed this hook for her "dress of the month"!!!! This little adorable outfit was handmade for Molly by a sweet friend who sews impeccably. I just love it and can't wait to have Molly's picture in it!
Poor Molly doesn't have enough clothes! ha!
I've had this little Corolle Asian Doll for about 4 years waiting on Molly. She is such a cute size, perfect for a toddler to hold!
And this is my Mary Mine doll from about 1980 probably! I've saved most all of my dolls from childhood! I will love seeing Molly play with them...but not Mary Mine because we don't play with her!
Can you believe someone put a fire/smoke alarm right in the middle of that wall? What is up with that? In both of my spare bedrooms the alarms are placed in weird places. I'd love them to be right over the doorway so as to be inconspicuous as possible, but whatever! We're safe at least! I didn't want to move it now b/c I knew it would require touch up painting and I don't have the color the painters used on these walls before I bought the home.
I know it will never look this perfect and in order after her arrival, but we'll all know it at least started this way!

It's pretty - and will grow with her!
Wow it looks so beautiful. You have prepared the most beautiful nest for your baby girl. Well done!
What a beautiful room you have made for Miss Molly!
Oh my gosh, Amy! It's so pretty... a dream come true for a little girl. I love the chandelier. Did you hang it? :)
You know I'm LOVING all the dress decor. Where did you find the dress garland over the closet? Is it paper? The "dress of the month" is such a CUTE idea. I can't wait to see all the dresses each month.
I love the quilt under the "dress of the month." The one with the girl in a bonnet... so cute. Who made that?
The Asian doll is so sweet. I can't wait to see Molly in her perfect bedroom!
That is one of most beautiful nurseries I have ever seen!! You did a GREAT job with all the little details- just LOVELY!! Looking forward to seeing a little girl in that crib! :)
It's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful Amy! Can't wait to see photos of Molly in her gorgeous room!
Her room is beautiful! Our little girls room was the exact same thing! I loved the paperdolls set! Congratulations to you!
YAY! YAY! YAY! THe only thing that could make it better will be Molly in the room! Love it!
Everything looks so sweet and adorable! Molly will love her new room. We are just getting started on our daughter's room; it's exciting!
What a beautiful nursery! It's perfect for a beautiful little girl :)
Amy,
The nursery is so perfect! I love the dresses design. Especially the dress of the month! Any your friend sews beautifully.
I know Molly is just going to love it. I have the same Asian doll for Maggie but she has not advanced to that stage yet. She is close as she knows how to sign baby and will hug on an animal but then throw it down! Got a little work there still to do!
You have a happy room for a very special little girl. I am so excited for you!
Okay, I really need to join the dress of the month club! Is she allowed to wear the dress of the month or does it just decorate and then she wears it the following month? I have a girls' dresses obsession really! :)

Oh my gosh, it's precious! How sweet! I love those dress decor on the wall and she can keep that as she grows into a little girl. So pretty!
Amy! It looks SOOOOOOOO CUTE. I love it :) I like it so much more now that all Molly's things are in there, although it was a really nice luggage room, too ;)
I love, love, love it. You need to do a dress of the month (or week) post. So cute.
I am getting SO excited!! I feel like I need to come visit again when M is all settled. I HAVE to meet her! Not that I mean to invite myself or anything. Haha.
THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!
Amy,
Her room looks so pretty! I know that you must be so excited. I hope that everything goes well on your trip to China. I'm glad that you will be all ready for her when she gets here! Can't wait to meet her one day.
