a little confirmation

don't you love it when God send you a little confirmation when you are in the midst of trial or doubt? from my previous post you may remember I was/am searching for my passion in my career (teaching). When I started teaching I was the most enthusiastic and creative teacher, but over the last 13 years that enthusiasm has waned over time. Most of the time I still love my job, but it seems mundane.

When we got back to school on Tuesday all of my little buddies came in anxious to greet me and I was reminded how much I enjoy my class. They are perhaps one of the most delightful groups I've had in recent years. Because of that I would LOVE to share my joy of receiving a referral for my daughter with them...but that is another story and may not happen.

However I had to share with you these two sweet 'love notes' two students gave me. It just reminded me of how much third graders look up to their teachers and love them. It put a little kick in my step for the week!
