Do you hear that? the sound of pure silence in my home except for the roar of the fire in my fireplace! It's pure luxury! I'm exhausted because we've kept these two munchkins:
for 5, 6, 0r 7 days...I don't really know how long it's been, but it's been several days! ...don't let their innocence fool you! They are a complete handful!!!! Their parents went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a Snow Ski/Anniversary trip this week and we had the kids. Then on Saturday I made a quick 24 hour getaway to pick up my grandmother in East Tennessee. She's been visiting family in North Carolina for two months and was ready to come home! She is 87 years old and this trip has been hard on her. I think she's home to stay now, no more traveling for her! I hope Eddie and Ambre are home to stay for a while so mom and I can recover for their next trip. Mom really needs a break...62 years old...12 kids a day for 12 hours a day...errands on the weekends to prepare for the next week.(plus add the care/stress of an aging parent, my grandmother, who really shouldn't even be living alone) She doesn't have a recovery period at all. This is why I know I have to move out before Molly gets here. It's really unfair to expect a grandparent to live with a grandchild especially if they are in childcare during the day anyway. She needs her time too. So I'm working on a plan to move out...I'll keep you updated!
I planned on taking pictures and updating the blog for Eddie and Ambre to see while they were away...obviously I didn't get around to that.
