Watermelons
Remember from this post I told you that my Grandma Sherrill is literally growing watermelons in her front yard? They are still growing! This is so funny, because of course you wouldn't normally want to grow fruit and vegetables in your front landscaping, but hey...Grandma is 87 years old so she can grow them wherever she want to, right? She throws seed anywhere and pretty much everything she "plants" and I use that word loosely...it grows! Now mom and I could really plant things and fertilize, mulch, and water it and it would still die. But everything grows for Grandma! Madison here is so fascinated by the many watermelons amongst the flowers in her front yard!

Ahh... the little watermelon is so cute! I wish I could pull that off. A friend gave me a basil plant and it's not doing very well... he gave it to me last week. :(
